Having Dental Work Done Without Insurance?

I am a 25 year old female. All of my teeth are rotted and I don't have a job because I don't have a car. I have no money and I've been in and out of the hospital with badly infected abscessed teeth. This last hospital stay nearly killed me it was so bad. I don't know what to do. If there is anyone out there that could help me please leave a comment.

Call your state's department of health and ask two things--1 how to apply for medical assistance insurance that had dental benefits 2 for information on free dental clinic. Most big cities have them several times a year (dental clinics).

The type of dental work you are asking about will not usually be done at university dental clinics but they may do some of it so if you have a school near you it would be good to investigate their services.
These school clinics are rarely free and the money to be admitted to their program will be an 'upfront' charge but can sometimes be paid on a monthly basis. These schools are very particular about when and what cases they take and it is not a quick service.

If you Google free dental work with your zip code there will be several programs listed for you to check out. There will also be clinics listed that do work based on income on a 'sliding' scale.

You do not indicate that you are married and you say you are not working but you must have some sort of income?
Are you on Medicaid? Government programs - food stamp program?
Insurance - who paid your hospital bills?
Be sure to find out if there are any dental services available with any program you are using.
Many counties have a health care clinic for persons without insurance so check you county for low cost health care and dental services.

There are a lot of programs that offer help but each one has their own set of requirements so if you check any of these sites you will have to search for suitable programs and fill out forms to see if you qualify.
