Here is a fun and quiet indoor craft for a rainy day. Help your child make the template and then allow them to thread the yawn of their choice giving them their own creativity and an activity that practices hand eye coordination.
I personally liked the backside better, but he liked the front side with the floral pattern. Optional: You could paint the paper plate or decorate it more with stickers. You can poke a hole in the middle and add a string through the hole to hang it on the wall or place on your mantle to showcase as art.
He was so happy with his craft that he wanted to showcase it with his Lego firetruck. :)
