Making a paper chain is a fun and satisfying craft which all children, and adults too, love to do on special occasions.
This is a tip for a simple and pretty variation of the paper chain to make the links look like hearts.
Instead of just overlapping the ends when you stick them together, fold the strip of paper in half and then glue the ends back to back. It takes a little longer, but it's fun and worth the extra effort.

PAPER CLIP HEART UNTIL GLUE DRIES. OR USE INVISIBLE TAPE AND WHEN TAPING THE PAPER STRIPS TOGETHER, TAPE TWO EDGES. (IMAGINE THE PAPER ENDS BEING A SQUARE. ONE SIDE OF THE SQUARE IS THE REST OF THE HEART AND YOU CAN'T TAPE THAT SIDE. SO THREE SIDES OF THE SQUARE ARE "TAPE-ABLE." PUT THE TAPE ON THE END AND FOLD IT OVER SO THAT YOU COVER PART OF TWO EDGES/SIDES.) CUTE WITH PATTERNED PAPER AND WALLPAPER ALSO.
