Heating element is going out, has a short. This could be a dangerous piece to keep using!
The F3 is a connection problem. Many times the connection cord on the bottom of the blanket becomes loose or is not making full contact. Check this to see if the error code goes away.
I checked the connection when mine did it but the adapter I had it plugged into was the problem.
Went straight to wall and voila!
I had it plugged into an adapter/surge protector in the wall. And I just plugged it in the wall directly and it worked.
