I have 1 2000/1500w 240v heater on a dual 15amp breaker. The house is only 3 years old. Every time I try and turn on the heater the breaker trips. Is it possible it's just a bad breaker or something more complicated?

The heater could be faulty or you may not have enough amps in that line. Plug the heater in another area and see if the same thing happens.
I have not had to deal with this company, but I suggest calling them and getting their feedback before you mess with it.

I assume the heaters were installed as part of a new build?
If you cannot get any resolution from the company, perhaps there is a warranty from the home builder? You may want to get their feedback. Three years is not very old.
I do recommend safety first with things like this. These make me nervous as they have been known to cause fires when they malfunction. I am just super paranoid about things like this!!
