Heavenly Chocolate Cake

This recipe is courtesy of my husband's cousin, Judy. Very rich and yummy cake!

Ingredients:

Directions:

Mix chocolate cake according to directions on box. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. Take out when done and poke holes with wooden spoon handle. Then pour 1 can chocolate syrup mixed with 1 can Eagle Brand milk over cake. Refrigerate to cool cake. Mix 1/2 bag Oreos with 1 carton Cool Whip and spread on cake. Keep refrigerated.

Melt chocolate chips over low heat. Beat egg yolks, add to melted chocolate chips. Beat egg whites. Add sugar, then add chocolate mixture.

Stir in vanilla, nuts and salt. Beat whipping cream and fold into mixture.
