Help Finding This Stuffed Animal?

A stuffed dog toy.Has anyone ever seen this stuffed dog? I got it as a young child and had lost it during a move a couple years ago . He use to be fluffy but I washed him,he supposed to have a plaid red and black burret/hat on but it fell off. I do still have the hat. If anyone can help me with finding another or the name of the stuffed animal that would be great.

How old are you? That would narrow down the manufacturers. Applause is out of business and Gund is still in business. If you lost the tag it will be harder to identify

This is a tough one, I would reach out to the many social media outlets. They are larger and reach out through the world.

It is very difficult to identify a plush animal that does not have any tags but there are forums that specialize in helping people identify their 'pets'.
The members on these sites are very good and usually can tell what brand and maybe more information.
However, they need all the information you can supply to be able to help you.
Pictures: send several - taken from all angles; be sure to show where the tag might have been attached as companies usually always placed tags in same place with all of their toys.

Be sure to show the hat also.
It looks like your pup may have black tips on the ears, feet and tail? If so, this is very important and also the measurements.

You will have to join the forums but it is free to join.

Try searching among famous toy brands in the 80s, for example Russ

Add a photo of the hat, I think it might help identify the brand of your toy.
