I'm looking for help with beds for my children. Where do I go or look? I can not afford them.

You could check websites like Craigslist under free, nextdoor, Facebook market.
Ask friends, family, neighbors
Mattresses are tricky because you don't want bedbugs, you will need help getting them to your place and installed, and you need to make sure you get the right size for your space. Like are your kids going to share a full or queen or will you want several twins.
Never pick up a mattress from the curb. Don't get me wrong, I am an avid "curb shopper" but draw the line at mattresses and most stuffed items--although I did once pick up a chair from a home I knew to be very clean. To be safe, I left it outside for a few days after using a hot iron to "steam it" clean. I guess I was lucky I didn't scorch the upholstery.....I was young and not really thinking about that part :). It all worked out for me though!
Today I probably would have picked up the chair though as even the cleanest houses can get bed bugs if they have been traveling and picked them up.
Back to your strategy....
First pass is to see if friends or family whose homes you know to be clean and pest free can help. Hopefully someone has a truck or van or can get them safely strapped to the car roof and can get them to you and to where they need to be in your home.
Second pass is to talk to your church or religious organization (if you do belong to one or if not, maybe check around to see if any of them have programs to help with this). They often have everything in place to get them to you (verified clean and safe) and installed.
Third is you could always set up a Go Fund me and tell your story about what is going on in your life and the ASK for the help that you need.
Find out how much the number of mattresses and frames you need are to buy NEW and set that as a goal. Then ask friends to donate. Even small amounts can add up to get you brand new mattresses and frames. If you go this route, the store typically does delivery and set up so you don't have to worry about that.
People can be quite generous if you ask. Often times people don't know you even need help and by gently asking with a Go Fund me, they can help in a way that is meaningful to you!
Prayers! Post back with an update.
If you can't afford to buy a normal bed for the kids you might consider getting them an air bed. These types of bed are very low priced and they are great. The reason I am suggesting this is because a used bed can be a major problem. You risk the chance of brining bed bugs into your home and they will bite your kids.
Anothrer option is to talk with a social worker and explain your problem. At times they can help out and give you a voucher to purchase a bed with.
There are a few sites online that let people donate their used items to people in the area. You can go on these sites and either donate or request an item. You can check you local churches in the area and speak with the pastor of the church to see if he can help you out.
Check with your local state services, the offen can tell you and point you in the right direction for help!
Family first is an organization that helps family's get beds for children. I have heard and seen a great deal of beds to be given out in my county!
