Help Getting a Wheelchair Ramp?

I live in Westland Michigan. My next door neighbor fell and had a stroke. She needs a wheelchair ramp and we do not have enough money to help. We can't find one that is affordable and we're not sure what to do.

I would contact the Council for the Aging, HUD.org, local churches and Habitat for Humanity.

In some cases these need to be build so they fit the needs of the person. My dad had one build when he got really sick. I know that he contacted the disability services I think for the help he needed. You can try to see if anyone in your local area is a carpenter and can help out for the price of the material and maybe a few of your neighbors can chip in to buy the supplies needed to build the ramp.
