Help Identify This Bug?

A tiny bug on a computer screen.I keep finding these really small bugs across my laptop screen and my table. I've found one on my skin as well (ew!). I've developed lots of small red bumps across my skin and think whether this bug could be the reason?

I checked for bed-bugs but other then red bumps on my skin, could NOT find any other identifying things (such as red spots on bedsheet). Bumps have been itching like crazy :(

Using the process of elimination, I believe these are mites. There are many varieties (some are white, and some can't live indoors) but the solutions are the same regardless. They are attracted to humidity, warmth, and food sources, so I recommend a thorough cleaning of your keyboard/laptop (lots of crumbs and debris including skin bits are inevitable -- eeeww) and keeping it as cool as possible at all times.

I can distinguish in your photo only that this bug is dark, possibly black, a little oblong. The gnats have such an elongated body, but they have wings and they fly. Only female gnats can bite, size 1/8-1/4 inches, gnat bites usually look like mosquito bites and cause small, red, painful, very itchy, swollen bumps. You might also notice bleeding where the gnat bit your skin. In some people, the bumps turn into blisters filled with fluid. Check if it has wings and flies.

Bird mites measure less than 0.02-0.06 inches in size, and are
often whitish in color with some black spots on the body that can turn darker after feeding (reddish brown color).

Female bird mites may bite any part of the body, and these usually appear as swollen / raised red bumps which unfortunately can be hard to distinguish from bed bug bites. These bites do not spread disease or cause illness but are an annoyance and may irritate skin. Check if the size and color are the same.

Please indicate an approximate size of this bug and describe it.

Sorry but your pictures show a bug about the size of pinpoint and there is no way to identify a bug without being able to see the whole bug as the size/other than small, color, head, body and legs are the best way to identify a bug as well as where and when they were found and if they fly, crawl and bite.

Sometimes all of this information is not available but it does help to provide as much info as possible.
You may have to go to a dermatologist to find a better answer as they may be able to help you by looking at the bite marks. Doctor's visits are expensive so you might want to try getting a medication from a pharmacist for the itching until you can find out how to eliminate the bugs.

it's very possible you have mites of some type as these can be common in households and can be from food, moisture, houseplants, etc.
I'm sorry but i can only offer several sites for you to check to see if anything fits your problem.

If you generally see these after dark, they are probably a gnat or midgie commonly called a "no-seeum". They are attracted to lights, and that's why you see them on your laptop screen. They can fit right through window screens, even without any holes. The best thing to prevent them is to either close windows before dark, OR take the screen outside and spray them with a bug spray to keep the bugs from going through the screens. Good luck.

My niece had your symptoms and it turned out to be bird mites. She needed an exterminator and a dermatologist.
