Help With a House Fire?

I need emergency help from my house being set a fire. It's been two months and I still haven't received no real help, just clothing from the community mostly things I can't fit but appreciate it. I have called around, no one have any funds here. Can someone tell me what to do or where I can really receive help?

Your particular situation - age, working, disabled, on government benefits (food stamps), children - all of these could make a difference in what type of help you will be eligible for.
All assistance help sites will require a lot of forms to be completed and everything will be checked before they provide an answer.

HUD offers different kinds of help, so be sure to contact them to see what is available.

You can also search Google - home burned need help/assistance with housing and food (add your zip code) and several agency names/links will come up for you to contact.

Also, check with your local fire station, as they usually have a list of places to contact for help after a fire.

Your local department of social services can help, as well as neighborhood churches. You or a relative can also start a gofundme.

You may be able to receive help from programs, charities, or benefits. There are federal grant programs for example from FEMA.
Various organizations, like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, or United Way. The Red Cross or Salvation Army can help connect you to finding temporary housing. The Red Cross is the fastest acting source of aid in a disaster like a house fire, they will help with food, shelter, and clothing, providing you with a voucher for a many-day stay at a local hotel.

If you are insured, contact your insurance company for detailed instructions on protecting your property, conducting inventory and contacting fire damage restoration companies.
Notify your mortgage company of the fire.
Check with an accountant or the IRS about benefits for those
recovering from fire loss.

Depending on where you are located, find the contact info for your local weatherization state disaster program. I can help you locate if I know your city and state??
