Is it misleading to have the word health in the name of my home care agency? I see that in most business names the word health is omitted. Should I change my name because it has the word health in it ie., Patterson Cares Home Health?

You are technically lending to their good health, so it is not misleading, but if someone is searching for senior care, they may skip over your listing, thinking that it's more about pure healthcare.
You can put the name health in your business name.
somehow maybe you can use the adjective HEALTHY as opposed to the word HEALTH
or you can use it as part of another phrase IE HEALTH PROMOTING or HEALTH INSPIRATIONS
I worked at a home care agency for 4 years and its name ended in home health services. Perfect since home care promotes health at home vs in a facility!
Thank you. That makes me feel much better. I think I will get the accreditation when I am up and running fully. I am in the very early beginning and preparation stage.
Wishing you all the best!
Your name does not "flow" as much as recommended names should (for remembrance) but if it has everything you want in a name then you should leave it as is, especially if it already established.
I cannot see any problem with health in your business name as you will be dealing with their health on a daily basis but the reason you may not see it very often is because it is sometimes difficult to fit it into a name.
Thank you so much. The name has deep meaning. It is named after an elderly man that blessed my life while his presence graced the earth. So the name is deeply rooted in meaning. I appreciate your feedback.
The name doesn't actually flow so well but you can change this around just a bit if you are just getting started. You could keep the name health in your business name and there shouldn't be an issue or problems with this.
Thank you. But I don't want to limit myself to seniors because that's not actually my intention. I plan to be an agency that can assist anyone that needs home care i.e. hospice patients, mentally challenged people, pregnant women on bed rest. Anyone that may need additional simple caring hands at home. If I put seniors in my name I could loose potential clients.
