I am going thru a divorce and need to prep my house for sale. I had a big reduction in income. Who can assist me with repairs? I reside in Richmond, Texas.

You say a big reduction in income but that does not really say very much and most of the suggestions given will be for low to very low income families. Also, the reason you are asking for assistance is not one that would generally be acceptable through any of these agencies. You do not give your age or if there are children involved and this may also matter when asking for help.
Perhaps you could ask for help from relatives who know about your plight or your church or through a bank that offers low interest/payment government assistance loans.
I just do not feel (from the information given) that you would meet the qualifications of most of the government assistance programs.
