Home Repair Help for Low Income Homeowners?

I am 48 and disabled. I am living in a house where the floors and walls are falling apart. I have stage 3 kidney disease, but I have it under control with meds. However, I am so scared it's going to fall and I don't know where we would go. When I bought this home it was not like this. I know the insurance company won't help because it's not on my plan. Where can I find repair assistance?

You should notify your local department of social services.

Will send up prayers that you find a solution. I have a friend with MS who got help repairing his home through an MS organization. Perhaps the National Kidney Foundation can point you in the right direction.

If they say no, ask them if they know who can help. The United Way may also know of resources for you:

Prayers that you find a solution.

Perhaps contact HUD from this page and let them know of your unique situation. I hope they can help you!

Did you recently purchase your home? If within the year, you may have a home warranty if your real estate gifted that to you, or you requested that when you purchased your home.

If you do, that will most likely cover the repairs!
