We have a small leak under our home. The puddle path seems to indicate it is under the kitchen or hall bathroom. I could fix it myself if I was able to go below. Can I get help via California State water conservation program?
The leak has apparently come from one of the supply pipes below the house, as I have main line ball valve on the internal house line that stops the leak. There is no leak above floor! I am 79 y.o. with limited mobility. There is small puddling under house. I was unaware of leak until Great Oaks Water Company notified me of above normal usage, when we habitually conserve water very carefully. My wife is 76 y.o.
Because of the leak, I keep the water supply turned off unless in immediate use, then turn it off again.

Many people have problems in their homes and need help for plumbing, construction, electric, general repair or to rebuild homes due to fire, flood and other problems that they are not able to afford. Unfortunately, there are no federal, state, county, etc., government agencies that help people needing home repairs in any state.
In some areas there may be volunteer, nonprofit, and other entities that might have the resources to help, however, these are usually difficult to find as there is no consolidated center to apply. Also, they may not be active all year, may not receive needed funding and have shut down, etc. You can try researching resources online and contact private and religious entities who may be able to help or suggest other possible resources. Good Luck!
