I wanted an idea for how to create greeting cards which would not be too
expensive for a beginner?

There are several ways to make greeting cards. You can use Publisher which is a part of the office package. They have all different kinds of templates in the software to make your greeting cards.
They sell different greeting card programs that are for your computer. You could try using one of these. You can purchase your card stock at most office supply stores.
Other than this you will need to go to a craft store and buy your supplies. You can find your paper, glue, glitter and anything else you would like to use to make your greeting cards.
Start with blank cards from the dollar store with nice pictures. Then you can write in them what you like.
YOUR terrif!! Wonderful imagination.
What kind of greeting card do you want to make? You can reuse anything you have at home. You can make a card from a brown paper bag with some twine, or ribbon. Lots of tutorials and ideas that you can recycle with items you already have at home.
Just spirit uplifting greeting cards.
You can take inspirational photos and print them out for a couple cents for the front of your cards.
Awesome!! Can you recommend a quality
affordable camera?.
I would get super minimal greeting cards in bulk then embellish them with bits and bobs from the craft shop! Sounds like fun-- wishing you luck!
Thank you! Fantastic idea!!
Thank you! Fantastic idea!!
I start with sheets of cardstock, purchased by the package when on sale, or sometimes at a thrift store or garage sale. Cut each sheet in half, then fold that piece in half. You can make these other sizes but be sure they fit in an envelope. I take used greeting cards and cut out something from the front of the card. If the design is intricate, I cut a square, a rectangle, a circle, or an oval, centering the design.
This idea was the best ever!!! You seem to have a very creative touch! Thanks a bunch!!
