Using a variety of fillings made from "leftover" meat and a few extra ingredients, plus a basic bread dough recipe or frozen bread dough, you can make your own hot pockets.
Using leftover containers from the deli to freeze my hot pockets, I added a fun label for each of the sandwich fillings I made: Chicago Pizza (jarred spaghetti sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and black olives), New Orleans Muffaletta (salame, provolone cheese, and green olives), Hawaiian Kalua Pork (pulled pork, liquid smoke, sesame oil, chopped green onions), Virginia Baked Ham (chopped ham with ham sauce which came with my spiral baked ham), Texas Barbecue Beef Brisket (shredded beef brisket and barbecue sauce), Chinatown Chicken Teriyaki (chicken and teriyaki sauce), New Englander (tuna, green onion, cheese, mayonnaise), All American Cheeseburger (onion, cheese, dill pickle relish, mustard, catsup, ground beef), The Iowan (fried onions, cooked and crumbled bacon, and crumbled sausage), Southwestern (taco flavored hamburger and cheese), On the Bayou (canned shrimp with sauce), and Little Italy (chopped Italian sausage links, fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, and spaghetti sauce)
