Homemade Soft Scrub

Total Time: A few minutes

Yield: About 1 1/2 cups

Supplies:

• 1 1/2 cup baking soda
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• large bowl
• clean jar with lid

Steps:

1. In a large bowl, combine your baking soda and lemon juice concentrate. I learned the hard way that this fizzes and initially becomes much larger than it will end up. So if you want to avoid a big mess, use a big bowl.:)

 
2. Add your mixture to a clean glass jar with a lid to store for future use.

 
3. As you can see, my sink looks pretty good!

4. I didn't have the nerve to show a dirty "before" pic, lol, just trust me, they look better!:)

Thanks for the great tip!! I use soft scrub for so many surfaces. This sounds so inexpensive and easy. Great frugal idea! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the idea! Ive seen videos of people using baking soda and lemon juice or vinegar to unclog their drains, but never to clean the sinks. I guess this ideas a kill 2 birds with one stone kinda thing. THANKS!
