My husband enjoys using the Kindle we received for Christmas. He likes to sit at the table and look at it while drinking his coffee or after finishing a meal.
He didn't like having to hold it and being as he likes to piddle in his shop working with wood, it was not long before he came up with this idea for a stand.
He took a block of cedar and cut it at an angle to hold and fit the kindle. You will just have to look at the picture to see how it is done. Looks to me like a very simple cut.
He then sanded it and put some felt padding on the bottom.
It works great, looks good, and is heavy enough that it does not tip over.
