What is the name of this pattern? The information on the back is H 48 N 8.
It was purchased in Kansas in mid-late 1940s. I have only the plate and two small desert plates left of my mother's first set of dishes.
Thanks.

Your pieces are from the Virginia Rose field (Virginia Rose is the shape of the pieces not the pattern) but some pieces have names and some only have numbers so with this mark you will just have to search through the Homer Laughlin Patterns to find yours unless someone happens to find this pattern for you.
It also seems there are several different patterns with this same mark:
H48N8
The mark means your Mother's dishes were made in 1948 at the Nevell, West Virginia plant #8.
This site has a lot of information about Homer Laughlin china:

This link is to a set of 6 dinner plates that have the same mark but a different pattern. They sold for $15 in 2019.

Replacements also carries a lot of Homer Laughlin pieces so you can browse their site for your pattern (you'll find that many patterns only had a number like yours and no pattern name.)
You can also contact Replacements and ask them about your pieces.
It is the Bouquet pattern.
This is my favorite site for find china. Most of this china pattern is out of stock. There are prices for what's left , named Homer Laughlin Bouquet. - www.replacements.com/
