My Hoover Pro Max 60 Model number FH50220 shampooer is leaking water. I fill it with clean water and detergent and it's empty in less than a minute. It's leaving water marks on my carpet because so much water leaks out.

This sounds like you have a gasket problem with the tank and the machine. You may need to change out the gasket because they do get old and no longer seal correctly when the tank is put on the machine.
It's not the bottom gasket, it's the one on the dial to change it from Rinse to Wash.
Can't get a thicker gasket on there. Tried everything.
I see the gasket on my spin deluxe that recieves the water, is visibly cracked & warped. Is it easy to replace?
It could be the tank valve seal. Here is a YouTube video that tells you how to fix it m.youtube.com/

Many experience a lot of issues with the Hoover's Shampooer vacuums. You may want to call Hoover and ask for their feedback and if your warranty is valid still.
