I am so in love with making these little basket bowls. They're so easy to make and barely cost a thing. They're so pretty, you'd never know at first glance they were made of hot glue!

Just wondering, doesn't the petroleum jelly interfere with painting? Do you wash it off first?
How did you remove the vaseline from the glue so it could be painted?
Do you use low temp or high temp glue? And does glue get hard so the bowl will hold it's shape?
