My two-year-old Pit is potty trained. Recently we visited a friend who has two dogs that let them do their business in the house. My dog refused to go outside while we were there. Now at night she has episodes of pooping and peeing in the living room. She doesn't bark, she doesn't come wake me up, but she knows when I wake up in the morning so she's in trouble. Again she was potty trained. We never had issues with her until we took her to this other house. What do I do? How do I get her to stop pooping in the house? She doesn't go all day long while I'm at work. It's only at night.

Your dog had a change in her schedule and saw a different way of doing things. She is now untrained . You will have to retrain her. I would crate her if she leaves a mess. Show her who is boss, and she is will go back to the proper way.
Dogs will mark territory in another dog's home. I had a friend who used to want me to bring my dog when I visited her. My dog would always urinate in her house. He once went on her sofa.
Yikes...it happens. My recommendation first is to talk to the vet and make sure first that there is NOT a medical condition causing this. The stress of the travel could have caused some anxiety or he could have caught something from the host dogs. Medical situations are the biggest reasons dogs revert (in my experience as a long time dog owner).
If it is just he is all discombobulated from the trip, a refresher course of routine of crate training should get him back on board fairly quickly. Keep him in the crate, taking him out only to go potty at his usually scheduled times. Reward and praise heavily with treats when he goes, then back in the crate. Start with 24 hours and try him free, and if that doesn't get him back into the routine, go 48 hours. If after a week he still isn't getting it, I would have the vet recheck.
A logistics hint...When this happened with our late Carmel, I would cover the place she went with a footstool to discourage her from going back there (after it was cleaned thoroughly of course).
Good luck! Let us know how it goes!
