Do you mean that he pees overnight? If you do, he probably can't make it through the night without going potty. I haven't had a puppy for decades, but I've read discussions about it, and it sounds like it's normal to have to get up a few times overnight to go potty. I don't know how long you should expect it to take until a puppy can make it through the night, but you could call his vet's office and ask for some advice.
