I have a 2 month old Chihuahua. I am having hard time housebreaking her and she potties in her crate. What do I need to do? I love her, but need her house trained. Thanks.

Danielle, I am sure you do love her; and you are going to have to be patient with her! A 2 month old puppy is still a baby. You should not expect her to be able to stay in her crate without letting her out for a potty break more than an hour for each month of her life; so 2 hours maximum right now. Overnight, she may last longer, but she should not be crated all day long without frequent breaks.
Chances are, your crate is too big right now. A puppy should be able to turn around in their crate, and lay comfortably; but if it is big enough that she can go on one side and sleep on the other side, it is too big.
Remove her water a couple of hours before bedtime, and potty her when you're ready to put her to bed. Be sure she has had good exercise.
The many other posts on here can give you tips on the house training; but please adjust your expectations of youur baby!
I have no idea what to do, not trained a puppy in years, but please know that Chihuahuas are notorious for being hard to train. Maybe that will help a little with your patience levels.
