My mom dropped off these plants at my pad a few days ago. She got them from a garage sale and thought I needed some life at my room. :D
I really would like to know what these plants are so I could take care of them properly. Also, I would like to know if some parts of the leaves look normal. I've encircled those that I find weird. Any ideas?

I don't know what your plant is. It appears to be a succulent. I'm sure another member can give you its name. Until you do find out, keep the plant a little on the dry side and provide good air circulation. The rot where the leaf joins the stem is probably due to too much water.
