I am working on a craft for animal shelters by making fleece blankets for the animals. But I am in need of fabric and I do not know who would be willing to donate fabric so I need some ideas. I am located in Lima, OH. I need your help. Who do you think would donate fleece fabric?
Thank you.

Getting Fabric Donations
Fabric stores
Estate and garage sales
Friends
Craigslist
Freecycle
You may have to call some of your local thrift stores to see if they have any fabric you can use - fleece may be difficult to find but you may be able to find some of the fleece throws (small blankets) that are sold at stores like Walmart.
You can place wanted ads in your local Craigslist, Freecycle, Nextdoor.org, Facebook marketplace and many local newspapers will let you place ads.
Make a short plea explaining what you need for what you are working on with a telephone number for you to pick up any donations. You can decide if the pick up distance is too far or if you should meet in a public place.
Find local bulletin boards to place a flyer (same information as ads) and make pleas to your local church.
Talk to someone in your local elementary school office and ask about making this a project for some of the classrooms.
I have a couple of suggestions:
Perhaps you could partner with a church or other religious group that uses yarn and if your organization has yarn, you could trade yarn for fabric.
Sometimes Libraries have knitting clubs...maybe you could make contact with a club like that and see if you can work out a trade!
If not, you could also try to partner with with stores, quilting guilds and other like organizations...where you may be able to trade what you have for the fabric types you want:
