I am a twelve year old girl and I have been going to tutoring for three or two years. But its not as enjoyable or helpful as it used to be, now I just learn things I had already learnt in school and I miss out on moments of youth after school with my friends, time to myself (clean my room, do my homework properly, etc.). This means I get home at six, eat dinner then get ready for bed, leaving me with no productive time.
I stress all the time about it because I really don't enjoy going but my parents still think it's helping me when it's not. I do three subjects and one of them is a language. I do not mind carrying on with the language but I do mind carrying on with the other two subjects since I can always ask my form tutor for help on those if I really need it. I didn't do great on my calculator test for end of years which I think is the main reason my parents want me to stay but my form tutor is a math teacher so I could easily ask her for help. I don't know what to do as I only have three sessions left this term until year 8 , I want to be able to convince my parents to quit before year eight but I don't know how.
