This all depends on multiple factors.

• If you have cleaned your yard and home with bleach several times this can kill the virus.
• However, if you walk into a yard where the virus is, you can track this right back to your home.
• If you are around another dog sick with the virus, you can bring this home with you.
• The virus is carried on the soles of your shoes and it is hard to know for sure if the virus has been killed or not.
• The best way to clean your own environment is with bleach and hope for the best.

It remains a live virus for several years. Bleach kills it.

How long does the Parvo virus lasts in the environment.

Step 1
You have to disinfect everything with bleach.

Step 2
It can last up to 6 months in the house.

Step 3
In the yard it can last up to a year.

Step 4
Add 1/2 cup of bleach to a gallon of water spray the back yard all over the grass,cement.

Step 5
Wash all other stuff in the yard.
