How Long Should I Wait Before Re-dyeing My Hair?

I had just dyed my hair black with permanent hair dye about 4-5 weeks ago. I love it, but I really miss the colorful hair. So if I were to redye it with red hair dye would it be OK

or should I wait longer before dyeing it? Without bleaching or anything it's already faded to like a black/brown shade, but a little more brown.
