It sounds like your Pit Bull is about the right weight for his age. They are any where between 30 to 60 lbs when full grown , and between 18 to 20 inches in height. Life span is 12 to 14 years, so you have many years yet to enjoy your pit Bull.
Hello I am a newly pit bull owner of a beautiful female bluenose we got her when she was 2 months old she is a BIG 6 month old we took her to the vet last week and he asked what we were feeding her I said Perina puppy food she eats No table food and is very active ..my question is she just turned 6months old abd she is pushing 70lbspeople think she is grown but she is only 6 months old ..just wanted to hear from other pitlovers is her weight normal or should i cut her back she eats 3x a day ???
Your dog is not a pure american pitbull terrier it is a bully mix or has american staffordshire in her bloodline.
She's great at that weight.. took my 6 month old pit for a physical today and she weighed out just around that same weight and doc stated she was very healthy
My 6month boya blue nose pita is 75 ponds and he runs all the time and i cut him back two times and he is still backing on ponds
I have a pit bull named Jake that just turned 6 months today July 13th.hes 100 lbs.i usually buys the expensive dog food hoping its helping him grow quicker.iam thinking Its helping.
That pretty close...some can get up too 100lbs ish but for the most part males range from 45lbs to 70lbs. Females 35lbs to 60lbs. I bred for 10yrs. The bloodline has alot to do with it!
That sounds like a blue blood.. Blue noses stay around the size of a red nose but have a blue coat. Blue Bloods get ALOT bigger.
If your Pitbull terrier cross weight upto 27 kg 200 gram .. definitely they cross between American bully or Stafford shire terrier ..
I have a 4month old blue pitt he weights about 65pounds is this normal to weigh this much hes not fat all all
You are wrong because the American pitbull was created from Staffordshire Terriers and Bulldogs so obviously a pitbull has Staffordshire Terrier in its blood regardless.
My pit is is 70lbs thats over weight should be around 50 lbs we cut his food back so will let you know how that works. How many times are you feeding your pit bull.
My dog is 7 months old and 51 lbs
She's not a purebred american pit bull terrier
This is incorrect info. APBTs where first registered in 1898 by the UKC and are the original. ASTs where first registered by the AKC in 1936. They where dual registered APBTs.
again there is no such thing as a blue nose its just a pitt and more than likely American bully or a bandogge if you don't have papers its a mutt no matter what you say again there are blood lines of pits there is no blue or red nose sometimes they just have blue or red noses the blue in them came from grey hounds
again you have no idea what you talking about if your pit is 65 at 6 months its got something else in it that should be its max weight full grown
ya but they don't they became there own breed with hounds terriers and bulldogs
Between 30-45 pounds, according to this website: www.justanswer.com/
They should weigh between 30 and 40 pounds.
One thing could be the type of collars that you are using and by the look of his frame he is more Long legged so some dog is not built for weight my dog my dog was the same way but our girl dog has short legs and is the size of a tank but different body frames
My American pitbull is 6 months and a week old weighing 75.2 pounds at the moment
Hi that is An xl bully not a pitbull but a beautiful dog worth lots
My pit, American staffordshire and red nose, I believe, weight about 75-80 pounds.
My pit 6 months old, American Stafforshire/ red nose is about 75-80 pounds.
Did you weigh them or are you just guessing? Those look closer to 50lb. But could be really dense.
Any pitbull that 6 months 70lbs is over weight. An adult is between 45/ 60lbs any dog that gets up to 100 is not a pure pit there are other breeds in there
My pitbull is 6 months and week old today and hes weighing in st 75.2 poinds
My xxl blue nose and brindle pitty puppy is 55 lbs at 5 months old
I have a tri-color blue noise American pitbull puppy, and I took him to the vet on 7/15 and he weighed in at 45 lbs and he is only five months old. I asked the vet was he okay and health and they said "yes, he is growing right on track.
HI My blue nose pitbull is 6 months and his weight is 15 kg it is good
You forgot to mention. Is your Pitbull male or female? If its a female then the weight is slightly less than the average. The average weight of 6 months old female pitbulls are around 49lbs, while the 6 months male pitbulls have around 57 lbs on average. Feed your dog well to achieve the ideal weight, and also keep monitoring the weight.
