Vintage wardrobe trunk with rugged metal hardware. Trunk latches work. Measures 44 1/2 inches long x 22 1/2inches wide x 18inches tall. Trying to figure out what year it was made and how much it's worth? Any help is appreciated :)

I did find a site that has an old catalog from this company and it appears that the company was established in 1886. I also found one of their trunks that was sold that was a different number but had the same type of certificate and warranty that yours does. It appears that the number you are seeing on this has nothing to do with the style or model but actually the number of the trunk that was made. If you check prices online they are all over the place on this one. The low end starts at $69 and works it way all the way up to over $1000 for the tunk. There actually is one listed on eBay that is a taller trunk than yours is and the asking price for this one is $111 plus shipping.
You can try to list this for a little higher than the one they are currently listing on eBay. You might want to start off at around $150 for this. The ones they have listed for over $1000 are not selling and they have been discounted several times to try and sell them.
The true age of your trunk would be difficult to find but Leatheroid Man.FG.Co name was not used after 1930 so your trunk was made before 1930. The numbers on the tags are said to be used to identify the number of that particular trunk so maybe 44411 would mean it was made before a higher number but no way to know the year.
The value of your trunk will depend on the overall condition; especially the outside as these are many times used to store items but also to be seen so the outside condition is usually more important than the inside.
Such as the trunk you have on display in the background of the picture of this trunk.
The area you are located will be the next factor in the true value of your trunk as most people will not pay the high cost of shipping unless it is a valuable item.
If this trunk were listed for sale in my area I believe it would be difficult to sell it for even $50 as there are lots of trunks available and most are of a more desirable style and in better condition.
It would be very difficult to find a sold trunk exactly like yours (for current value) and even if that were possible the area located would make that value invalid as no 2 areas will ever be the same.
Example: This trunk (poor condition?) has been listed for sale on eBay for at least 18 months - $111.99 - and has not sold.

You might try listing your trunk on sites like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, offerup, letgo and any other sites your familiar with; list it as local pick up only. You could start high and offer best offer considered - start at $250 and let it stay for several weeks and if no one makes an offer, reduce the price and wait again.

This trunk appears to be in good condition and maybe from the 1900's. This company has been around a long time . There was a vintage one sold not as nice as yours for $60. community.ebay.com/
