This knife belonged to my mother and she probably owned it during the 1940's. I don't know where she got it. I just know she had it for a long time. The imprinted information on the knife says "Rogers Mfg. Co, Warranted 12 Dwt." It appears to be silver or silver plated. I was just interested in the age of the knife.

It is from the William Rogers company. If no one here knows the age, you could contact replacements.com and they could help you.
I would do a search on eBay. Put in all the information that you have listed, which gives quite a good description of the knife. You might find some thing similar that would give you a idea of the age !!
Can you please show a clear photo of the handle so I can help figure out the pattern name/approximate year. It is silver plated. Most patterns of this brand have low resale value, but if I can see the pattern I may be able to give more specific numbers as there are exceptions to every rule.
