I dyed my hair ombré (brown faded into blonde) about one month ago. I didn't really like it and wanted to change it, but I decided to wait. So today I tried dyeing the blonde part back to brown and it came out too light so now I have a line going from the dark brown to lighter. Can I use box color to fix it today? Here's a picture of what it looks like right now.

Normally, they suggest that you wait 6 to 8 weeks between dying your hair. However, you've only dyed the bottom portion of your hair. I would try and find the same color ombre that you've used on the upper half of your hair and dye the bottom half the same color. You might need to leave this in longer than 20 minutes to ensure the color holds and matches the upper half of your hair.
If you deep condition weekly you can do it in a month.
You can use a box dye to fix it. I would go darker. If not, do a strand test to see what color it will go. Be sure to use conditioner and do hot oil treatment to avoid drying out your hair.
