It's easy to bling up plain tea lights with fancy tape. There is such a lot of choice and so many designs, colours, and patterns available that you can make them up for any occasion. Add sticky gems too for a bit more sparkle.

To make your use of tea candles on your tables sparkle, inside of the clear bowl you are using, pour table salt about a third of the way from the bottom. Place your tea light candle in and squish it around so that most of it is covered by the salt.

I have seen tea lights which have a thin tartan pattern material on the top (like thin paper). Has anyone come across these as I would like to do the same with my tea light candles?
You might want to use the battery powered one just using stretchy fabric and a small hole in the center. This might be flammable and who needs that?
