I love to go trail running here in Alaska where there are lots of hills, so when snow, rain, or ice hit, I wear my studded running shoes! All you need is a drill and some sheet metal screws. Just drill in the metal screws in where the shoe is thicker and you think your foot will land. there you go! Now you get to buy a guilt free pair of this season's new running shoes and adapt the older ones for slippery trails, hills, and ice. The traction is amazing and your shoes are always comfortable.
