sticky gem embellishments

Fold in half and insert into the bodice to form the shoulder straps.
Lay the three pieces of organza on top of each other and make 2 rows of running stitches through all layers along one edge. Note, depending on the qualities of your fabric, you may need only two or even one piece of fabric.
Gather the threads up, knot them to secure and apply glue.

Insert the skirt into the bodice and trim the bottom edge if it is untidy or uneven.
Sew the pin onto the back and glue a small piece of ribbon in place to keep it looking neat.
Apply your choice of embellishments and your brooch is ready to wear once the glue is thoroughly dry.
