I have a Husqvarna that will not start unless I jump it with cables. It has a new battery and the motor seems to drag unless using cables. Is this a starter problem because it starts fine with cables.

it sounds like there is a problem with the starter or the alternator for the mower. You may need to get some new spark plugs and change them out.
What about spark plugs, may be needed along with filter!
