My Husqvarna riding lawn mower shuts off while mowing. It will run for a short time then shut off while. If you let it sit for awhile it will start back up and run for a short time and shut off again. What is the problem?

Check your spark plug or it could be the oil or gas your using just some ideas.
Check the vent hole in your gas cap. After it runs a while the vacuum created by gas flowing out of the tank without air flowing in does not allow the gas to flow to the carburetor. Never mind if you have a fuel pump.
Can you check it by leaving the gas cap off while you cutting?
Pull spark plug wire off of plug then crack it a few times put wire back on plug if it fires and runs a few seconds and dies it's the plug thats what happen to my Huskvarna 42 inch mower.
Check safety switch under seat, fuel filter and very possibly the gas CAP!!!!!
I am dealing with the same issue, I have fire, fuel and air. Starts up and runs for a bit but then shuts off, let it cool down and It'll start again. I'm told it's the ECM
