I'm on vacation and got mud spots all over the back of my skirt. I put hydrogen peroxide on it and now it's all a deep yellow. I've been trying to get it out and it won't budge. What do I do? It's 100% cotton.

Soak overnight in a 5 gallon pail of hot water to which you have added 2T each hydrogen peroxide and powdered dishwashing detergent. Wash as usual the next morning.
Do you have Oxiclean? That has worked for me through all these types of incidents.
I used peroxide on a pinpoint size blood spot on my new white pants. I now have a grapefruit size yellow spot.
So glad I found this thread. Another mentioned OxiClean and it worked!! Yay!! I used about a quart of hot water and about 1/3 cup of BioKleen, similar to OxiClean, but earth and people friendly, in a bucket. Soaked the stained area in this for an hour. After, I saw some slight stains still visible. I rubbed the sheet together in these areas and it seemed to help. Poured the sheet and BioKleen into the washing machine with some bleach to be sure. No more stain.
I had used peroxide on a stain on these white cotton sheets for my Airbnb. As I was making the bed with the freshly washed sheets, I saw the giant yellow stains. I tried white vinegar as someone else said, dish detergent and Chlorox2 stain remover. None of those worked at all. BioKleen or OxiClean worked for me.
So glad you found a solution! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
