My daughter is having her 13th birthday party and I have to make it a surprise. I have so many ideas but no idea what to do because it is in October. Se is kind of girly but sort of tom boyish. She isn't expecting anything big, but I want to make it very special because she is going to be a teen soon. Any suggestions would be helpful.

How about a Surprise Cake? My sister made one for me for to celebrate my BIG 5-0 and I had so much fun with it. Here's what you do. Bake any one rectangle cake. Cool completely. Using a spoon circle out 13 areas anywhere on the cake and save each piece to put back on. Into the spaces put any kind of small prize. Cover with the pieces and ice the cake as usual adding the 13 candles. On the day of your daughters birthday after the singing of Happy Birthday tell her that somewhere inside the cake prizes are hidden.
You could plan a sleep over or if her favourite colur is black thrn you could plan a blacks cats theme party.....this would be enjoyble and fun.....
My daughter had a sleepover with boys at her 12th in the same living room and they all splept together, no problem
