My daughter is turning 13 and she wants to have a party, but she doesn't know what to do and one of her friends is having a party the same day, so none of her friends are going to be at her party. Any advice?

The obvious solution would be to have your daughter's party on a different day. What to do depends on what she likes, the weather and your budget. Most 13 year olds like movies, athletics and music.
Definitely move the party to a different day. This year, I had my birthday celebration after my actual birthday for a change, and it was just fine.
Is the other person whose party is the same day a close enough friend that you and the mom/dad can get together and have one big party for both girls? That could be a fun solution.
Each girl could have her favorite cake type (the more cake the merrier I always say).
This may be a win win and if there are two of you helping share the costs, it could be budget friendly for both.
13 is a big birthday so I hope it all works out!!
PS, we rarely celebrated birthdays on the actual day because weekends were always easier...so as long as you do something special for just the family on her actual birthday, a party on another day is usually not a big deal.
Blessings to all!! Post back how it works out!
