I have an old set of pewter goblets in not-so-good condition. Can anyone think of other uses for them besides the intended use? I'm not opposed to letting them live outside. Thanks!

Pewter is no longer considered safe to use with food. Pewter does have some value, so I would not paint or put outside as that would devalue them. Can you use on your desk to hold things such as paperclips and rubber bands? Or in the bathroom to hold cotton swaps, bobby bins, cotton balls.... Also keep away from heat, as heat will soften and deshape them.
Thank you for your thoughts, I appreciate them all!
