I'm looking up this dragon/dinosaur for my girlfriend. She swears it was made by Barbie, but the tags faded, and has been removed. I think it got torn off, but she's all the time trying to find it and can never find anything about it. She says that you can tell it's Barbie by the make up on the dragon/dinosaurs eyes.
She asked her grandmother who got her the dinosaur when she was four (she's 28 now), making said toy 24 years old, she also swears up and down it's a 90s toy. We have spent hours upon hours looking for this toy, and the history. So far we have not found anything even resembling anything close. So can y'all do us a favor and help us out?

Without a tag it may be difficult to find out the manufacturer of the plush dinosaur. You might put an alert on ebay & one may turn up:

It is difficult to locate a vintage plush without a brand name, as I'm sure you have found out by trying to do a 'visual' search.
I found a close 'relative' but this one seems to be on the 'monster' side. This one is 17" so it may be larger than yours. It does have some of the same features.
There are several sites that provide help with IDs and finding vintage toys so this will be your best avenue to try. This may be a little trouble but it gets results.
Provide size if possible.

While not 100% positive, I believe your gf's dinosaur is a dragon. I think it is a Peponi Fat Dragons Lulu. This person has one for sale on eBay at the moment (NOT MINE):www.ebay.com/
It gives measurements and more details so you can match it.
Hope this helps you!
