Does anyone recognise this toy?
It appears this is a battery-operated train - brand: Animal Train.
The name is clear but there is no more information in your picture.
This listing on eBay is made by the same company but the writing on the box is not legible so the company name, origin or date cannot be read.
This train seems to be in very good condition and has the original box. The difference appears to be that your train has a Hippo as an engineer and the one in this listing has a Pig as an engineer.
You might try contacting this seller and ask if they would provide you with the information shown on the box as this would provide the information you are asking about.
On the last photo there is a maker's mark:

You have a Vintage Animal train battery operated, made in Taiwan by Soon Cheng Toys.
I think it dates to the 1970's-1980's.
Your toy appears to be in good condition, but does it work? There is no box in the photos, so I think your toy does not have an original box.

Identifying stuffed toys can be difficult. If they have tags showing the manufacturer that will give you a place to start. Otherwise at lot of computer time is in your future, sleuthing. This is a page about identifying a stuffed toy.
It is fun to try and find out information about a favorite childhood toy. This can sometimes involve a fair amount of research for more unusual or uncommon toys.
This was a baseball we found in my father-in-law's estate. He lived in Atlanta for years and his 3 sons were born there. My husband has no memory of the toy. The package looks like it was opened for the autograph. The ball, toy and autograph look absolutely new. I could not find any info on the toy. I could use some help trying to figure out value of autograph on the toy. Thank you!
