Does this tag tell the size of the bedding eg. full, queen, or king? How do you tell the size once the bedding is removed from its packaging?

I use a Sharpie Permanent Marker and write the size on the foot corner of mine. I also mark the left head corner and the right foot corner of the fitted sheet so there's no guessing at how it goes on the bed. All my fitted sheets are marked the same. The ink marking is tucked under the mattress so it does not show when bed is made up.
Litter Gitter,
I mark each sheet exactly the same!
I don't know why, but these days tags often do not have the dependable information we are used to! Perhaps it is easier and cheaper to sew the simple required tags on every sheet and then sort the batches and package by size.
I'm sure the reason has something to do with cost & profit!
Lindalou58, that tag definitely says nothing about the sheet size. It gives washing instruction symbols only. I Googled "sheet sizes in inches" and found some helpful websites. The most useful one was Wikipedia. The link is below; just scroll down to the "North American" chart.
Outside of that, you could try the sheets on the beds and see which ones they fit. When you find the match, then write "Twin", "Full", "Queen" or whatever on that tag with a bold Sharpie, or on a corner of the sheet as someone else suggested. The Wikipedia chart gives the range in inches, and you could measure the sheets with a tape measure.

Good luck!
we have king and queen beds some sheets are the same color/type, I don't want to find out the size by unfolding and try to put on bed then I have to fold again!! and its impossible to buy sheets at thrift store because it doesn't say size on label. AM I THE ONLY PERSON WITH THIS PROBLEM??? All they have is to identify size on label!!!
You are not the only one!! I think it is rediculous that the information is not on the tag
It is ridiculous. I am trying to sort through a bunch of sheets that were donated to our facility. It takes to much time to do this when the size is not on the label.
im glad I am not the only one who has this problem! My son has a king size and mine is a queen. We have sheets that are the same color and it is absolutely crazy the size is not on the label!! The only way to find out which one belongs to what bed unless you try and put the sheet on. What a waste of time and effort!!!
I am going through this right now I used to have a queen, then after Harvey I was donated a king. Now I'm back in a queen and I gave all these sheets with no sizes on the label .
I'm a crusty old bachelor, and inherited a house with twin beds and (my) double bed. I have only a modest hall linen closet (like a lot of folks-I know.) I put off changing sheets because of just this problem (OK-and also, because, here in the US-unlike the UK-we don't have those nice duvet covers that zip on three sides, so we have to wrestle to get them on.
I get furious when my queen and king sheets get mixed up. Why cant the manufacturers mark on the tags what size they are.
I hope someone answers this question. If there is a company which sizes their sheets, that is where I want to do business.
No yiu are not!! What a pain in the neck !! How hard would it be for the manufacturer to write it on the label !!
I already did all the marking, as someone mentioned above, but we used to have TAGS on the physical sheets, identifying the size. Sense everything we do now days is outlawed, are those tags outlawed too??? Do we have to run around with a measuring tape around our necks and measure every bed and sheets after every wash, so we can yell: Thank God this one fit!! I would pay extra just so I can have those tags back on, especially the fitted sheets.
But, doesnt that just make too much sense? Growing up, we had twin, full and q beds. So easy for my mom to find what she wanted. Now!!!? Why do they change things that work? I will tell you why. Because a man decided. A man who never changed a bed in his life. Truth.
I agree! I gift Summer sheets out and the size is not on them. We have full and queen beds. So frustrated! I am trying to find out if the numbers on tag mean anything. That's why I saw your question. No luck so far.
Hello! I tried reaching Bedsure by phone and no one was available . I just emailed Bedsure. I asked them to help me in any possible way. Their sheets dont have any labels with sizes. It is frustrating. I have two boys and two girls in Twin size beds. Ours is a Queen size. All sheets in white or cream color. What a nightmare after a wash. In error I purchased a King size sheet set too! I dont want to buy anymore sheets like these again, unless they change their production.
I fold my flat and fitted sheets and one pillow case and put inside the other pillow case. Therefore I know the size by the pillow case its stored in. King size sheets come with king size pillow cases. So I only have to look at the size of the pillow case to know the size of the sheet stored inside.
I think it is king as there seems to be a crown at the front.
It is easy enough. A single/twin bed is 39" across. A double/full bed is 54" across. A queen bed is 60" across. A king bed is 78" across. (That is 2 twin beds side by side) A California king bed is 72" across. Make a note of these measurements on the back of an old business card and tuck it in your purse along with the measuring tape you always carry. I carry a little 36" tape on my keychain. Usually, for a woman, you can measure an approximate yard (36") from one fingertip to your nose. Stretch your arm way out for that measurement. Practice this at home with a tape to see just how far you have to turn your head to get this measurement. My right hand with the fingers spread out measures 7 1/4" from thumb to little fingertip. My arm from the base of my thumb to the inside of my elbow measures 12". It really helps to memorize some personal measurements like this or, at least, keep them in your purse. I like the idea of marking sheets with a magic marker where it doesn't show!
Is he measuring across the top sheet or just his beds?
is it a king
If you want to measure a fitted sheet where do you start and where do you end with the measuring tape. show me how to place the fitted sheet to measure
