I come here asking what brand my childhood bear teddy is. From what I have gathered he was sold rather at Walmart or Target and was sold swaddled in a blanket. There are no tags on him and his color has faded from what I assume to be his original color pink. (My parents re-dyed him pink occasionally when I was a kid)
My aunt purchased him for me when I was very young (between newborn and 2 years) so the date purchased was anywhere between 2003-2006.
I have scoured eBay looking up any key words that might help me find what his brand but I usually find nothing.
Details: embroidered eyes and nose as well as that small black dot above his nose. He has a small tail. He can also sit upright.

I remember similar bears and I believe they were called names like 'slumber, security, huggies' and always came with a blanket.
Do you remember if he ever had a tag? Are there any 'remnants' where a tag might have been?
Thank you for your help, I will add some more images here and try those other websites as well. I no longer have the blanket he came with and I have looked all over him and I don't believe he actually had a tag anywhere on him, as there's no remnants or any indication of a tag.
Your teddy bear is very cute, but so many teddy bears have been made that it's hard to tell the manufacturer if there's no tag.
Someone is trying to identify a similar bear www.reddit.com/
Maybe this is a SKM teddy bear.
I think you have a teddy bear from Keel Toys Simply Soft Collection, which they discontinued in 2006.

Thank you for your response. These are actually pretty close, but it looks like these have plastic eyes, while my bear had embroidered eyes. Thanks again though!
Without a tag it is going to be nearly impossible to identify it.
Yes unfortunately :( my aunt doesnt remember what brand either. Only that she got it from target or Walmart.
These 2 retail stores will not keep the same items over time (Walmart, Target). They carry newer brands and updates, sometimes they have a different logo.
It's probably going to be difficult to find the manufacturer of your plush bear. You can apply different filters on ebay and try to search that way. Click on 'see all':

i have a bear almost IDENTICAL to this one that i have also been trying to identify for a very long time. i got him in nearly the exact same time frame as you. (2007) i think they may be related,
their bodies are the exact same. the only difference is mine has a face with a smaller, protruding muzzle, slightly different eyes, and a nose that **used to be embroidered in gold.**
i remember the tag being on his tush, and the brand name in gold, if that's of any help to finding yours. it might have been Dan Dee, however i was very young, so take that with a handful of salt.
i got this bear from someone unknown when i was just born, still in the hospital. it possibly came from the hospital itself, which may help narrow down brand that supplied teddy bears to hospitals/gift shops in the 2000s? these two bears are so similar that i feel like there must be a connection here!!
