Nice set but without markings or background information these would be very difficult to identify - almost like finding a needle in a haystack - unless someone just happens to have a similar figurine.
You can do a 'visual' search on some of the most popular sites and you may get lucky and find something close even if not exact.

Theses are Victorian Colonial Porcelain Man & Woman. Made in Japan. On eBay they are asking $11 to $25 for the set. They are mass produced items, with a lot of look a likes on the market if there are no markings to identify them!
