It appears your pattern is known as N161 by NORITAKE
N161 Gray Columbine Flowers
Discontinued. Circa: 1947

However, it appears there may be more than one color border pattern: green, gold and ?
There does not seem to be very much of this pattern listed for sale (even on eBay) and none sold recently.
Also, Replacements has what few pieces available on mark-down which usually indicates it is a slow seller and probably will not be replaced.

When you mention 'set' that does not really state very much as a set could mean numerous things and made up of many different pieces.
It is very difficult to sell china in any amount but especially difficult to sell sets of any kind. There does not seem to be a very large market for sets of china as people are just not into using fancy table settings anymore.

It is also very, very expensive and difficult to ship china and especially sets of china.
If you still wish to list your set for sale the following is a good example of what a 'good' china listing should look like:
Pictures and description:
(This is set is not for sale on eBay. Did it sell? No indication of if or when it may have sold.)

Usually it has some kind of indication on the bottom. If not, replacements.com may be able to identify it.

This appears to be the same pattern as your china. It's by Noritake & a set of 74 pieces is listed for $690:

It is Noritake, I should have mentioned that. Does anyone have suggestions on where is a good place to sell them? This is all new to me.

I don't think it's possible to identify a pattern without knowing who made it. Inspect the back of all pieces. If you find a mark, then add a photo of it.

You can list your set on sites like Craigslist or Facebook marketplace.
Look at the link in my answer to see how your set needs to be described and how many good pictures you will need.
you can start your asking price high - $400-$500 if you wish and perhaps offer local pick up and also review offers.
Keep your set listed for several weeks and if no offers are received then you can lower the price and wait again.
It is very difficult to list on eBay or Etsy if you have never listed before but some people still try.
If you offer to ship, you should find out how much it will cost to ship.
