We had an infestation last night is Southern California, these bugs poured in around my back door with porch light on. They do fly. What are these and how do I get rid of them?

You write that these bugs do fly, but I don't see wings on the photo. I guess that wings are discarded. I think you have termites.
Apply termite-killing products to your home's exterior.
Vinegar diluted in water or vinegar mixed with lemon juice kills termites.

I dont think they are termites, they are some type of beetle and they bite or sting. Not sure from which end. Some are more brown and some are black with wings.
If they are termites, you should have a bunch of discarded wings around. I have seen termites in my area, and they do not look like this.
Maybe this is a larva of snakefly?

They feed on other insects and not harm people.
Use window and door screens.

But I'm not sure.

Definitely looks like a termite and they hatch/dwell in groups, so that is probably what you have.
If you own your home then you should start thinking about having an inspection to see where they are located and what needs to be done to eliminate them.
